Raiders of the North Sea is the official digital adaptation of the award winning board game by the same name. It is a worker placement game in which you compete with other vikings to gather resources, build a crew, and plunder villages.

Raiders of the North Sea has received glowing reviews as one of the top digital board game adaptations.

My responsibilities

My role on this project focused primarily on the Nintendo Switch port that we developed along side our PC and mobile release. My duties on the project included:

• Setting up the Nintendo Switch SDK and back end required for development

• Implementing gamepad support and working with the design team to ensure that gameplay would smoothly transition to gamepad play

• Ensuring that hot swapping between touch and gamepad still functioned as expected

• Implementing Nintendo’s network functions such as verifying account and online subscription status

• General bug support
